This company from day 1 was excellent. They were available for any questions we had. Walked us through the whole process with our insurance company when we had issues with them. All the people that came here were very transparent, very knowledgeable, very kind thru the whole process. The crew that worked on our house was so nice n helpful. They cleaned up every night, and when they were through those young men cleaned our whole yard, actually better than we could have!! Very impressed with the quality of the work. And now a few months later we are still very happy with the workmanship. Would highly recommend them to anyone, now and in the future.

We had an amazing experience with Horizon roofing! Sam Bastiaanse handled all the insurance paperwork and was wonderfully low pressure on his sales approach. His friendly attitude and efficient job on handling everything is why we hired this company. He made it so simple to get the claim taken care of. He was always on time and kept us up to date on all the details. Mauricio and his team were on time and did an excellent job installing the new skylights and roof.

Wind pushed a little tree onto cable prying it away from the house. Was a minor job, everything just had to be pushed back into place and renailed, a 10 minute job really. Some contractors were asking for a minimum payment way beyond scope of job, while others wouldn’t even bother unless there were more money involved and actual damage to the roof. Horizon were reasonable and did a great job. I wouldn’t hesitate to contact these guys.

A major wind and hail storm hit our area resulting in our neighbors’ 150 foot hickory tree falling on our home. Horizon came out immediately and placed tarps on our damaged roof and siding and took away some of the damaged deck and railing pieces.

Keith was very patient dealing with our “not so helpful” insurance company. The insurance company initially wanted to do minor repairs versus replacing the full roof (at least a dozen homes nearby had full roof replacements due to hail damage – estimated by the insurance adjuster of 1-2 inches in diameter). Keith purported that repairs were not an option as the state code had been changed and required additional materials – hence a full roof replacement – not just repairs.

Throughout the process, Keith was very supportive by working with the building inspector, State of Michigan Consumer Services and various insurance adjusters and us. Keith took the time to make many site visits with the inspector and adjusters.

This almost 2 year journey, arguing with the insurance company, resulted in a brand new roof fully covered by our insurance.
